FOUNDER

             Shannon Battle, (Founder of The ICAN Company) has taken her struggles and adopted the philosophy of ICAN ( I Can Achieve Now) which she uses to work closely with her husband’s clothing line and endeavors to help change youth. She believes in the motto “ICAN” and encourages others to look inside themselves and pull out the person who dares to believe “ICAN”. The message of ICAN has now evolved into a television program geared towards teenage character development. She believes that this message will change the mentality of destructive thinking and challenge people, specifically, teenagers to think more positively of themselves.

             Shannon Battle obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, at the age of 20, and later obtained her Master’s degree in Sociology in 2001. She has worked as a federal civil servant in the position of a career guidance counselor for active duty military personnel and their families. While working on her Master’s degree she received a vision from God about opening a residential treatment facility for troubled teenagers. She now has three facilities that serve both girls and boys. She has volunteered with the Cumberland County Detention Center as a group leader. She also leads group sessions for teenagers in her church. She currently is enrolled in another Master’s program at Liberty University working on her degree in Professional Counseling.
